Ready for Manatees' season? We are! Just 72 days until the home opener!

Single-game tickets will go on sale at 9:00AM on Monday, February 1 - you'll be able to purchase tickets online 24 hours a day! If you prefer to buy tickets over the phone or by fax or mail, keep an eye on the website for instructions and a link to forms to do so, as that information will also be posted on Monday morning.

It's not too late to sign up for season tickets! Plenty of GREAT seats are still available, as well as a limited number of parking spots in the paved lot. Call us today for more information. We'd love to see you at the stadium this year!

Want to spend a day hitting the links with friends and professional baseball players, while contributing to a great cause? Here's your chance!

The Manatees will be holding our 2nd Annual Charity Golf Outing on Monday, April 26th! The format will be a four-person, 18-hole scramble/stroke event, with teams consisting of 3 players and one Brevard County Manatees team member! Golfer check-in will start at 7:15am, and the fun will begin with an 8:00am shotgun start!

The $75 registration fee (per player) will get you golf balls, tees, towels, breakfast and lunch, as well as complimentary beer, soda, and water courtesy of Carroll Distributing and Coca-Cola! A portion of all proceeds will go directly to the Brevard Achievement Center, an incredible organization located in Rockledge that assists individuals with disabilities achieve vocational and social independence!

Ready to play? Registration forms can be downloaded here and returned to the Manatees with payment. Space is limited, so make sure you sign up early! Entries must be received by Monday, April 19th. Give us a call at (321) 633-9200 if you have any questions.

Can't make it out that day, but still want to contribute to the cause? Consider sponsoring a hole! It costs just $150, and your logo and company name will be displayed on a sign near your sponsored hole, your company name will be mentioned during the event, and you'll receive a special ticket package for a Manatees game! 2010 Baseball Camp registration is now open!

Do you have a young baseball or softball player looking to brush up on their skills and learn from the pros? Look no further than Space Coast Stadium!

The 2010 edition of Manatees Baseball Camp will be held Monday, June 21-Wednesday, June 23. Registration costs just $100 per child, and includes all kinds of goodies, including professional instruction from Manatees coaches and players! Both boys and girls are welcome at Baseball Camp, as long as they will have turned 6 years old by the start of baseball camp, and must be no older than 18.

Registration forms can be downloaded here and returned with payment to the address or fax number listed. Space is limited to 150 campers, so sign up early to ensure a spot!

If you haven't done so already, be sure to order your tickets for the 2010 FSL All-Star Game! If you're a season ticket holder, one ticket per seat will be included free of charge in your season package, and additional tickets for family or friends may be purchased for $5.00 each.

Not a season ticket holder, but want to attend the All-Star Game? No problem! Tickets are now on sale to the general public as well at $8.00 each. Click here to see your purchase options. Please note that tickets will not be mailed right away (April at the earliest), so keep e-mail confirmations or credit card receipts as your proof of purchase until you have your tickets in hand.

Coaching Staff Announced!

Happy New Year, Manatees fans!

The Brewers officially announced their minor league player development staffs today! The Manatees' 2010 coaching staff will be as follows:

Manager: Bob Miscik
Pitching Coach: Fred Dabney
Coach: Dwayne Hosey
Athletic Trainer: Tommy Craig
Strength & Conditioning Coach: Chris Gavranic

You will notice a few familiar names on this list! Fred (6th season), Tommy (4th), and Chris (2nd) will be returning for the 2010 season! Bob comes to us from Huntsville, where he was the manager during 2009. Dwayne is a former major league outfielder, and previously served as hitting coach for Cedar Rapids. Are you looking for part-time employment? We are now hiring for Nationals' Spring Training (March) and the Manatees' season (April-Sept) for positions including but not limited to security staff, ushers, and ticket takers! Santa will be taking a fire truck tour of Viera next week! See below for which neighborhoods he'll be visiting each day from 6:30-9:00pm. Check here for more details.

If you're a baseball fan in Brevard County, chances are that you've heard of the Surge and/or the FWBL. As they unfortunately had to cut their inaugural season short, we at the Manatees realized that this left their fans and sponsors disappointed!

To that end, we decided to offer a special deal to Surge ticketholders and sponsors. In short, bring your unused Surge tickets (must be dated Nov 27 or later) to the box office at Space Coast Stadium, and we'll trade them out for an equal number of undated 2010 Manatees tickets, which can be used for any regular-season home game (excludes FSL ASG). Keep an eye on our website next week - we will be releasing our 2010 schedule! As a sneak preview, Opening Night will be Thursday, April 8th - only 135 days to go!

Hello Manatee Nation! We hope you are having a great week, and looking forward to the weekend! Things are busy as always at Space Coast Stadium, as we continue planning for the 2010 season!

Last Thursday night, the Manatees and Nationals held an exciting networking event, Business AfterHours at the Park. Many local business leaders from all around Brevard attended, and everyone (especially Manny!) enjoyed a great night of food and drink donated by several local restaurants, and music provided by 98.5 The Beach! Were you at Business AfterHours? We'd love to hold this event again, so feel free to share your feedback with us!

As you can tell by looking at the calendar, we're currently in our off-season. However, you'll want to keep our blog bookmarked! We'll be sharing exciting information about the upcoming season as it becomes available. Don't miss out!

Feel free to check out our recently updated website and get a head start on planning your fun in 2010! Our game schedule will be released later in the fall - but in the meantime, plenty of information regarding the upcoming season is available on the website, including downloadable forms for season tickets, 10-game passes, and Mini-Tees' memberships. Order forms for individual All-Star Game tickets will be added soon, as well as information on our new fan club for seniors!
